This Sunday 20 August

  1. 9:00amHolloway Road - St Mary Magdalene

    Holy Communion

A weekly communion service. It’s quite traditional, with liturgy and a 15-minute talk. It lasts about 50 minutes and ends with tea and coffee.
  2. 10:00amWestbourne Road - St David

    Hope Together

An informal family service suitable for all ages. The worship is contemporary, led by a band, with a section of family worship after which children and youth break out into their own groups whilst adults remain in the service. There is a talk and plenty of opportunity to meet friends. The service lasts about 80 minutes. On the first Sunday of each month we enjoy our 'all-age' service, where the children and youth stay in the main meeting and we have the opportunity to share communion together. Our all-age services are slightly shorter, lasting around an hour. Over the summer, our 10am and 11am services will be combining, so we will have a joint service at 11am at St Mary Magdalene's each week - as such, the 10am will not be running! The 10am will be back at St David's on 3 September.

    Summer Sundays - Hope Together

People of all ages meet together for worship, teaching, prayer and friendship. Welcoming and open to all whether you've never been to church or have been going for years – come along to see what we're about. Children are welcomed and stay in the service so we stay fun, friendly and 'SSSHHH-free' throughout (there is Sunday school and a youth group at our 10am service).

  4. 5:00pmWestbourne Road - St David

    The Five

The 5 meets at St David’s. The vision for the service is to host God’s presence, to be changed by his presence, and to invite others to encounter him. It’s a friendly, informal service, which includes a block of worship near the beginning, a 15-20 minute talk and time of prayer ministry at the end. The service finishes by 6.30pm. We have a good mix of ages, with slightly more than half of the current congregation being in their 20s and 30s. Whether you’ve never been to church before or have been a Christian for years, absolutely anyone is welcome!
