We love it when Hope comes together to connect with one another, and to serve each other and the wider community in Islington.
a little hope
In the midst of a global pandemic, A Little Hope was born as an opportunity to foster relationships and community between new parents who found themselves isolated from others as we were all guided to socially distance. Now, though social distancing is a thing of the past (phew!), social isolation as a new parent remains a very present reality, and A Little Hope is one place to find support in the midst of those early days.

We meet every Monday during term-time from 10 – 11.30am at St Mary Magdalene Church. There are limited spaces. You can book your place via Happity. To find out more, get in touch.
PRISON MINISTRY
Right on the edge of the parish is HMP Pentonville - a local category B resettlement prison for remand and convicted male prisoners aged 18 and over. For many incarcerated here, it can feel like there is no hope and no future.
Our Community Outreach Manager regularly goes in to Pentonville to assist with courses like Alpha and Hope Explored. More volunteers from Hope Church also support and pray for the inmates once a month during their Sunday services with a vision of helping those who may be at their lowest point in life, finding Hope through Christ.
kintsugi hope
Kintsugi Hope exists to create a world where mental and emotional health is understood and accepted, with safe and supportive communities for everyone to grow and flourish.
Hope Church partnered with Kinstugi Hope in 2022 to be trained and equipped to deliver their Wellbeing Groups.
As we work together to be community beyond our usual meetings, we want to offer opportunities. Opportunities to ask for help when you need it, whether that’s practical help, emotional support or spiritual care. If you’re struggling, we really want to hear from you. Get in touch by email.
