You are warmly invited to join us this winter
WAITING WITH HOPE 4TH DECEMBER, 11TH DECEMBER, 18TH DECEMBER 10am
In this season of vacancy and waiting, we enter the season of vacancy and waiting, marking the time before we celebrate the arrival of the Christ at Christmas. This year, if you’d like to join in, Hope will be listening to daily reflections via podcast, and on Wednesdays, joining together in person at the beginning of the day, working to embrace all that God has to reveal to us in the season of waiting. If you’re not able to be there in person, but want to join in, you can find the podcast on Spotify, and a livestream of Wednesdays on Instagram.

The first film is The Grinch, and the second is Elf, and we’d love to see you. Feel free to bring an indoor picnic, and we’ll provide the popcorn! Please sign up using the link below so we make sure we have enough popcorn for everyone.
CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT 15TH DECEMBER 4:00pm
This year, join us at St Mary Magdalene, as we gather around a piano with mulled wine and candles, singing our hearts out to bring in the joy of Christmas! Based on the nine lessons and carols, we’ll be hearing the story of Jesus’ approaching birth and belting out festive favourites, do come and join us. The service will be interpreted in British Sign Language by our wonderful interpreter, Beatrice. Please note there will be no 11am service on the day of the carols, as we prepare for the evening service.
COMMUNITY HOPE CHRISTINGLE 22ND DECEMBER 10.30am
Join us for our Community Hope Christingle service. We’ll reflect together in an informal and family friendly setting, sing a carol or two, and make Christingles as part of our service; so come prepared to wrap a ribbon, spike a toothpick, and maybe sneak a quick snack on a bit of dried fruit as we craft together.
We look forward to seeing you there.
